Sammy was a college student and the Pledge Master of his fraternity. His father was a lawyer at Fowler, Kaufman & Rose.
Season 1[]
Sammy bought some "Cupid meth" from Effi Montecito to give to his fraternity brothers. When one of the members had an overdose, Sammy took him to the hospital. Sammy waited there, but the teenager died. When Detectives Vic Mackey and Claudette Wyms arrived to investigate, Dr. Crawford told them that Sammy had brought the victim. They went to him for questioning, but Sammy refused to talk unless they talked to his father who was a lawyer. Vic then dragged him into one of the emergency rooms where they had the body of his friend and pushed his face against the dead body as he asked him where he had gotten the meth. Sammy then confessed he had bought it from a fellow student called Effi Montecito.
