Connie Riesler was a prostitute friend of Vic Mackey. He usually tried to steer her away from her profession because she had a baby.
Weeks later, Detectives Dutch Wagenbach and Claudette Wyms were investigating a series of murders that involved multiple prostitutes. They eventually captured Sean Taylor, who had managed to murder multiple people including prostitutes Kitty Weir, Rosita Pedrazo, Mary Esposito, and Sheryl Watkins.
Around the same time, Vic Mackey investigated a ring of pedophile prostitution that resulted in the murder of 13-year-old Sally Struthers.
