"Posse Up" is the sixth episode of Season 3 and the 32nd episode of the series as a whole. It was originally broadcast on April 13, 2004.

While Tommy Hisk has to deal with tragic news regarding his family and the suspicions about him, Vic and Julien go out to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, the Strike Team has to work with Trish George from the Decoy Squad to stop several attacks on homosexual prostitutes in Farmington. Finally, Aceveda pressures Dutch and Claudette into releasing information about the "Cuddler Rapist" to the press, and Dutch reluctantly does, which ends up enraging the rapist.

The term "posse" refers to a group of people assembling for a purpose. In the episode, after Vic Mackey finds out what happened to Tommy Hisk's family, he tells the officers that they have to "posse up", meaning they have to get together to find who killed Tommy's family.
