Paula Garcés (born March 20, 1974) played Probation Officer Tina Hanlon on The Shield between Season 5 and Season 7.
Garcés was born in Medellín, Colombia to a fisherman and a schoolteacher. At an early age, she moved to the United States growing up in Spanish Harlem, New York. She started gaining attention after starring in the 2002 teen sci-fi film Clockstoppers.
Garcés married Antonio Hernández in 2002. They own a restaurant in New York City called "From Earth to You Cafe".
