Melanie Jayne Lynskey (born May 16, 1977; age 46) played Marcy Lindhoff during Season 2 of The Shield.
Biography[]
Lynskey was born in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand. She studied at New Plymouth Girls' High School where she attended drama classes. In 1992, with only 16 years old, she impressed audiences with her portrayal of Pauline Parker in Peter Jackson's Heavenly Creatures.
After this appearance, she took some time to study and relocated in Los Angeles. She then appeared in the 1998 film Ever After with Drew Barrymore. She has also appeared in films like Flags of Our Fathers, Sweet Home Alabama, and Shattered Glass.
