When Vic Mackey and the Strike Team were looking for whoever stole their Lincoln Navigator, they met with Hoffman at a diner. Hoffman gave them information on a man called Mark who could be moving stolen cars around. After they met, he told Mackey that if they ever needed a new member on the team, they could contact him.
