William Joseph McCormack, Jr. (born January 13, 1974; age 50) played Steve Hanratty during Season 1 of The Shield.
Biography and career[]
Will McCormack was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, to William Sr. and Norah Magdalene (née Ross) McCormack. He is the younger brother of actress Mary McCormack and Michigan Supreme Court Justice Bridget McCormack. Will graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
McCormack started his acting career in the late 90s, appearing in feature films like Colin Fitz Lives! and Harvest. From 1999 to 2001, he had a recurring role in The Sopranos. McCormack has since had recurring and regular roles on other TV shows like Dirt, Brothers & Sisters, and In Plain Sight.
