Catherine Grace Dent (born April 14, 1965; age 59) played Officer Danny Sofer on The Shield and voiced the same character on The Shield: The Game.
Biography and career[]
Dent was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Eleanor Brown and politician Fred C. Dent. She studied at the North Carolina School of the Arts graduating in 1993.
Dent married Peter Eliasberg on March 23, 2002. They had their first child on December 14, 2004. Her pregnancy was incorporated to her character on The Shield as well. She has recently guest-starred on TV shows such as Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, NCIS and The Mentalist.
