David S. Jung (born December 23, 1971; age 52) played a jeweler during Season 1 of The Shield.
Biography and career[]
David S. Jung was born in New York City, but grew up upstate in Lake George. He attended Phillips Exeter Academy, studied pre-med and English literature at Cornell University and received his MFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Jung started his acting career in the late 90s. He has appeared in TV shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Heroes, Hung, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Young and the Restless, and Eli Stone. Jung has also lent his voice to numerous characters in shows like American Dad!, Family Guy, The Lion Guard, and BoJack Horseman.
Aside from TV, Jung has also appeared in feature films like Death Note, Neurotica, Mind the Gap, and Takedown. He is also an acting and directing teacher in Los Angeles.
