Chene Lawson was born in Chicago, Illinois, but moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She studied at The Groundling's Theater for improvisation and character development. Lawson also became a member of The Sunday Company.
Lawson started acting professionally in the late 90s. She has appeared in TV shows like Entourage, Ladies Man, Not to Say, and All Things Undone. Lawson has also appeared in feature films like The Devil's Tomb and The Inheritance, among many others.
