Denis Forest (September 5, 1960 – March 18, 2002; age 41) played Lonnie Reborg during Season 1 of The Shield.
Biography[]
Forest was born in Ontario, Canada and attended Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto. He collaborated in several plays in Canada before moving to Los Angeles in 1990. He appeared in films like Cliffhanger, The Mask, and Storm of the Century as well as in shows like The Shield and The X-Files.
Forest was also a painter and sculptor who exhibited his work in galleries such as the William Turner Gallery in Venice, California; Bedlam Art in Los Angeles; Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas; and the Laguna Museum of Art, among others.
Forest died unexpectedly in Los Angeles on March 18, 2002.
