The night Terry Crowley was murdered, Aceveda was at home feeding his daughter, Sophia.
Season 4[]
Sophia was playing in the house when David Aceveda arrived after finishing his affair with Sara Frazier. Several days later, Aceveda was in his living room with his wife and daughter. Sophia was making drawings and painting. When Aceveda stood up and left, Sophia just stood and looked at him.

- In later development in the DVD commentaries it comes out that the real daughter of Benito Martinez is used in season 1 Pilot but not the actor Isabel Mares who portrays her in season 4. Her real daughter goes by the name Isabella Martinez.
